Working out is necessary to achieve a healthy looking and feeling body. Often times many people correlate a good workout with feeling sore. However, you may be surprised that soreness and muscle strain don’t automatically mean it was a good exercise. In fact, the soreness is simply lactic acid build-up from muscle movement. You can achieve quality results while working out without having to feel that muscle strain. All it takes is mindfulness and taking certain precautions to meet results without fatigue. 

Warm Up

One of the most important things to keep in mind before starting any workout is a proper warm up. You have to warm up your body and joints for at least 10 minutes before starting any strenuous exercise. When you jump the gun on a workout without mobilizing your muscles and joints, your body becomes more susceptible to injury, fatigue, and strain.

Let’s say you are on vacation, though it is completely fine to lessen your workout schedule, it’s still important to implement some exercise. Balance is key if you truly want to be able to have the body and lifestyle you seek and deserve. Without balance and consistency, you will constantly be yo-yoing your body to a bad state of health.

Lastly, after every workout, prioritizing a bit of stretching will go a long way. Giving your body a chance to have its blood flowing and moving is one of the best things you can do for yourself. A couple minutes of mindful stretching and moving will also help your heart rate to go back to a normal speed.
