5 Ideas to Make Your Corporate Event Memorable

You have booked the room and you’ve invited everyone you want to show up. Now you need to find a way to make sure that the people who come to your corporate event are going to really remember they were there and what went on. There are a couple of different approaches you can take in order to make sure that the event is memorable. You need to go all out with whatever approach you take. You should also know that a bump in the road isn’t going to entirely derail what it is you are looking and working for over the course of the event.

Allow your network to work for you

When you are putting your event together, make sure you are allowing your networks to help you get people there and get the word out. When you are putting together a corporate event that you want to be memorable, you are going to want as many people as possible to have a good time. If there are friends there for people, they are going to feel more comfortable and enjoy themselves more. Using social media networks like Facebook or Twitter is going to go a long way towards making that event something you can really think of as kind of a success.

Give unusual gifts

You’re going to want to have some kind of gift you can give out to the people who are coming to the event. This doesn’t mean you want to give them something that is either too run of the mill or doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. When you are looking for something to give out, you are going to want to find something that at least kind of goes with what the event is about and something that will stick out.

You can even go with the idea of having a series of gifts that are all similar or are tied together somehow. Maybe each person who is helping to put on the event can give out something different, yet the thing has something in common. The theme should be something that will have people talking after the event, in a good way.

Choose a memorable venue

If you really want your event to stand out in the memory of those who attend, then you should find a place that is going to be a bit different. Don’t rent out a meeting room at your local hotel. Find a place that is outside the box. There are going to be some bonus points if the place you are able to find is also quite striking in appearance. There are some places in every city you might not realize are available for rent for your next event. Do a little hunting, do a little investigating and find a place that will get tongues wagging. Find the right place and you’re even going to have people quite excited to be a part of the event. That will, in turn make sure they are talking when it’s all over.

Launch an app

This is going to be more work than some people feel as though they need but you can be sure the event will stick in your attendee’s minds. Launch a simple app that gives information about what the point of the event is as well as where it is taking place, the things that are going to be going on there, et cetera.

If people really download the app, you’ll find them referencing it before they ever arrive. You will also have that app on their phone, so they might be looking at it after all is said and done. This is basically marketing your event in a way that people will have it programmed in.

Have good, live music

Yes, the top of the line events are going to have live music but make sure it’s both good and not overpowering. You don’t want people leaving early, or not enjoying themselves because bad musis is being blasted all over the event space. You don’t have to get David Bowie to come perform, but whoever you do hire should be used to do it.
